Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
Stan Collymore proving yet again that a lot of people do not realise "Robin" is the "Model" not the manufacturer....
You don't talk about a "Fiesta Ford", "Diablo Lamborghini" or "Corsa Vauxhall" .....
Its not "Robin Reliant" ITS "RELIANT ROBIN"
And breathe Rant over

Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
10,000 is still just under 150,000. And only 3 games made less then that meaning the rest made more then 150,000. Not overly bad. Still surprised upwards of 10,000 people are feeding sky and bt with more money when you can easily get streams for free online but suppose it is their money so up to them.
From what I have read on here some seem to be proud to be paying over the odds for games and using it as a sort of status symbol to show that £15 is nothing to them. Personally I could afford it but I flat out refuse to.

Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
Far more people have come on here and said they’ve refused to pay it on some kind of principle. But the same ones who had a pop at Garlick and the club for refusing to pay over the odds for players during the transfer window.thelaughingclaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 3:16 pm10,000 is still just under 150,000. Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
Sure I read there’s a meeting? There’s typically some news emerging from them in recent weeks and can’t imagine PPV is not on the agenda?clarethomer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 4:49 pmI think there was some suggestion it may be to be fair. Not sure if there is still some news to be expected or not?
Overall, I’ll be disappointed if games become unavailable again. Seems that pricing is the big point they need to debate.

That's my fear. They will just take the view that its not worth doing. Seems like the media, supporters trusts, premier league, broadcasters are all playing a massive game of chicken with each other.NewClaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 5:01 pmSure I read there’s a meeting? Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
CT has just said on a separate thread that they did meet today specifically to discuss cost. No decision. Odd to meet without making a decision on anything.clarethomer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 5:03 pmThat's my fear. They will just take the view that its not worth doing. Do appreciate the moral standpoint and the impact on fans experiencing hard times, but equally would be gutted to lose the option of watching us whilst basically under house arrest.

Re: Stan Collymore on PPV
Price potentially coming down to £9:95 which of course will mean that you are getting 4 games for the price of 3 against what is charged now.
Will be interesting to see how the supporters trusts/media respond to this.

Yes, just asked CT his thoughts on that topic on the other thread.clarethomer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 6:27 pmPrice potentially coming down to £9:95 which of course will mean that you are getting 4 games for the price of 3 against what is charged now.

Penny (or 5) for the League Cup’s thoughts on it as well. They charge a flat tenner, which would appear expensive compared if the PL reduces their price - particularly as clubs often play weakened teams in that competition.
