Simon Jordan has just said he interviewed Stan for a job at Palace when he was Burnley manager!!

Interesting listening to this. Jordan making the point that Palace were sold for £140m a few years back, and that £200m for Burnley seems like a good price. Why would they pay that much if they weren't serious about investing etc.

For those not currently listening it sounds like they'll be discussing it further and looking into Farnell. I don't normally listen but this show seems much better than the drivel that's on at pm drive time. Jordan seems to talk a lot of sense whenever I've heard him.

I’m not a fan of Jim White. Simon Jordan is worth listening to sometimes, despite his often rather elaborate wording that doesn’t mean what he thinks.

I don’t mind Talk Sport outside of the show that Durham and Gough are on, which is painful listening and low denominator, shouty radio.

Agreed on Simon Jordan, a very good pundit with real experience. As opposed to Jim White, the worlds least self-aware man

Jason Cundy and his sidekick is the worse of the lot. Jesus its painful eve thinking about it!
