Team is the definition of stale at the moment. Classic example of what happens when the personnel aren’t improved often enough.

More chance of us beating Derby’s low-point record of than of us staying up this season.
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
For those of us paying for a Premier League Season Ticket to be delivered Championship football when we get back to Turf Moor... there had better be some bloody goals!CaptainKirk wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:25 pmThat's it for me. Thank God we don't have to pay for this crap.
Genuinely thinking I will come back for an exciting season in the Championship (where we probably belong) where we will at least score some sodding goals.

Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
I would say a shocking Pope mistake for the first, then a Tarky mistake which leads to a corner, which leads to him losing his scoring marker isn't the forwards fault.. We have zero creativity in the side I would certainly agree with that..we look a club on our knees at the minute.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:24 pmI hope nobody thinks Ben Mee will improve this team. Our problems are at the top end. No creativity at all. Just crosses into the box and fingers crossed we get the bounce.

Thank you Fulham, West Brom and Sheff Utd
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
Simply too easy for Chelsea. I just don’t get why Garlick would want to destroy a club that he helped to build. Even if he is selling up you would think the club would be worth far more as a PL team rather than one who looks doomed for relegation

That was awful!
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
No investment and being left behind all the other team's coupled with Long ball lump it tactics is undoing all the hard work over the last few seasons and taking us down to the championship

I wonder if Garlick is regretting not getting some reinforcements in as the millions start to drop off the value of the club.
Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
We can’t keep giving the ball away like that against teams like this

No effort, shocking

Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
For team which prides itself and has built a well deserved reputation as being great at defending and extremely hard to score against, we suddenly look far from either and to concede a free header directly from a corner is just so unlike us (previously!)
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
Could play until next week and their keeper wouldn’t have to do anything.

Westwood at fault for the goal. Can't give those away to a player like Werner.

I understand why he doesn’t but if he could Dyche should just tell ‘em to F off and go.....like doing a job with yer arms and legs tied together strapped in a chair in a room on his own....

Brady hat trick anyone?
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
Now we are being really embarrassed
Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
Is it really all down to Garlick
The manager could be a bit more pragmatic and start against teams like Chelsea with 5 across the middle
One trick pony springs to mind

Hard to watch Garlick walk away with millions profit whilst leaving the team like this! Hope the interested parties walk away.clarethomer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:28 pmI wonder if Garlick is regretting not getting some reinforcements in as the millions start to drop off the value of the club.
Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
Digsh*t yet again. The way we set up against Chelsea and Man City means they are foregone conclusions. Brighton had our pants down with Stephens. Garlick is the one to blame for this mess ultimately. He can count his millions and do one.

Re: Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Chelsea
It looks a team that just has no confidence, no faith in its own ability, no passion. The lack of turnover within the squad has left us with a tired, fatigued, bored squad who have let complacency set in and are just going through the motions.
If you do the same job without any new challenge or competition long enough, you lose what previously thrilled you and they all look so guilty of that.
I’ll except Josh Brownhill from that assessment, feel for the lad - full of energy but it’s not matched anywhere else.
