The failure over several transfer windows, perhaps in an attempt to improve the clubs finances pre takeover, is looking remarkably risky...

Season ticket holders have only missed out on seeing 4 Burnley goals.

I would say it was the two meter social distancing that we adopted, or was it more like five meter social distancing.

Matt Lowton nearly scored to make up for his non marking and very poor all round game today

This is a team that finished 10th. Perhaps if Dyche hadn’t spent the Summer implying they weren’t good enough and we need to spend more. Gibson is laughing.

Playing our best forwards would help for at least 2 reasons ( probably more )

1. 1 likes it into feet more, has that bit of skill, links up better with midfield, can hit a worldie, pop it off the make a run into the box, is a great header of the ball, if we are going to swing it into the mixer.

2. The others main attribute is to win free kicks and spends most of the game on the floor and/or turning over possession by being either on the floor or fouling the opposition. Also is the weaker of the 3 main forwards regards finishing IMO.

We can play football, look st Palace away last season when we only had Vydra on the pitch in terms of forwards, however when Barnes plays the tactics can only be whallop it up towards him as that is his attribute.

He is the perfect last 20 minute player IMO.

I'm wide awake thanks.

Since WBA scored three against them, they changed their keeper and have kept 5 clean sheets in 6 games.

Barnes and Wood up front isn’t working. Resorting to long ball tactics and doing the same thing over and over again when it is not challenging the other team is pointless. We have to give other teams more to think about. We don’t surprise teams with anything.

C'mon mate, they could have played with Stevie Wonder in goal yesterday, it wouldn't have changed the fact we had NO shots on target.
