Problem with Jones is he’s contracted to 2023 on 70k pw and he’s made of thinner glass than JBG. Also don’t think he’d be first choice if Mee/Tarks are fit.

He'd be an absolute shoe in at either right back or in midfield, and he'd certainly be stiff competition for Mee and Tarkowski.
He ticks just about every box if a) he can keep injury free and b) we can reach some deal financially.
a) is definitely a major concern and b) will be a major issue.

Quite possibly, but we need someone capable of partnering Mee week in/out when he does. Jones’ injury record is seagulls. Nothing to suggest that will improve as he gets older.

Think A+B=too risky. Last thing we need is a player consuming massive wages and hogging JBG’s physio facilities!
