This could finish off a number of small clubs I'm guessing.

You should change the title.

The National League is part of the group of 'Elite' sports.

Step 3 and lower are the likes of the Northern Premier League or Isthmian League Premier.

This makes no sense. The national league is only 2 steps, there are no steps 3-6. If it means step 3-4 of the non league system as a whole then it seems to suggest teams below step 6 can still play and train which again makes no sense.

This explains the football pyramid:

https://www.footballinbracknell.co.uk/f ... tem-works/

Steps 1 and 2, The National League and National League North and South, are considered 'Elite' and as such have been playing but with no attendances allowed. I understand these clubs are getting some financial support to keep them going.

Steps 3 and below have been playing but have been allowed to have attendances. This caused a few issues when in the FA Cup for example a step 1 team was playing a step 2 team.

I reckon we should cancel this years Premier League - not a biased view at all!!!

I play at, and for, Birmingham Walking Football Club (the biggest WF club in the world) and we have just been instructed by the DCMS that our winter league has been put on hold until, at least, Dec 2nd and our in-house sessions are cancelled for the same period.

That's my exercise regime gone then. I, like many others, have never been able to just get out there and exercise for the sake of it.
