It’s just Dyche being Dyche.
He often comes across as a complete arse in interviews.
We’ve discussed it many times on here but personally I find his sense of humour toe curling.

I’m a destroyer of packaging.
I’m certainly not elegant when I open post, very caveman-esque.
Jordan is doing us proud. The more Northerners we have on TV the better.

‘Proudsville’ seems like a hell of a long time ago.dandeclaret wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 10:57 pmWhy does what you get paid matter? Your happy places are surely places that you spend your leisure time. Be that with friends, family, or doing things that you love. Go to your happy place.... oh I'll pick work, the place that I am under most pressure...... doesn't work does it? The whole reason Jordan Picked Turf Moor was to take him out of a pressure situation. He didn't pick the radio 1 studio, where he probably gets a 6 figure salary to present for a few hours every day. It's hardly moulding tyres in the Michelin family, or lumping Uniforms around at Simon Jersey - is it?

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
Jordan North has done a wonderful job promoting the profile of Burnley and the club. I must be honest I was disappointed in Dyche's response in his Thursday presser. He came across as negative and could have taken the opportunity to be more positive and emphasis the good the club have done in supporting 2 local charities through the t shirts the clubs produced in response to the Celebrity programme. I can't help thinking, he'd have given a different response 12 months ago.

How about we get back to the subject.
He comes across as a very decent fella and is throwing Burnley all over the place. People will vote for him and at the back of their mind, remember Burnley. It's a good thing.

I didn't think it possible for someone not directly involved in the club to have such a positive impact upon us.
I will buy him a pint if I bump into him on a match day

Makes you wonder why Jordan didn't pick his Radio 1 studios as his happy place. Thousands of adoring listeners, well paid and a fun work environmentSheedyclaret wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 9:23 amIf i was on 3.5 m a year ir would be a happy enough place for me to work..

Yes it's been a good couple of weeks for the club on and off the pitch, I wonder if they'll tell Jordan the score, he is the camp leader after all so he must get some perks.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:17 amIt’s great to see the positivity he has brought to the town and club. More arguments breaking out in the last few days, it's amazing how quickly the vibe can change every year, they struggled on that trial, but it was probably the toughest one they've had this year so far.

Shane up for the next trial that soon wiped the grin off his face. It's good that different folks are being chosen for each trial.

Something along the lines of “just wait until you’re at turf moor 5-0 down to city, that’s hopeless!”

No! Shane seemed rather moody tonight, I'm not entirely sure why, but he was definitely not his usual chirpy self, I agree that won't go down well with the public, this might explain why he got voted for the trial.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:16 pmA couple of them having a pop at Jordan and Jess. Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
True but I view anything we take off City as a huge bonus, the lads should go there and play without fear, we'll probably lose anyhow, so we might as well have a go and try and notch a goal or two, their form isn't great and the pressure must be growing on Pep by the game, plus they have a tough trip to Greece on Wednesday, so who knows we might finally break our losing run against them, we used to have a decent record against City for a few seasons both home and away.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
Hadn’t realised they had a Euro away game. Let’s hope they’re shattered from all the travel and Aguero, Sterling and Jesus all have to self-isolate . That or our new lucky mascot Jordon can send us some luck, because we’ll need it to withstand 90 minutes of City’s tippy-tappy, pull-you-all-over-the-place football.tiger76 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:48 pmTrue but I view anything we take off City as a huge bonus, the lads should go there and play without fear, we'll probably lose anyhow, so we might as well have a go and try and notch a goal or two, their form isn't great and the pressure must be growing on Pep by the game, plus they have a tough trip to Greece on Wednesday, so who knows we might finally break our losing run against them, we used to have a decent record against City for a few seasons both home and away.
