RIP Geoffrey Palmer

Post by tiger76 » Fri Nov 06, 2020 2:57 pm

The veteran actor has died aged 93https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54838209

I knew him from the TV comedies, but I wasn't aware he starred in a Bond film, best known for his partnership with Judi Dench in various shows.

RIP Geoffrey.

Great as Reggie Perrin's brother-in-law, was also in the brilliant last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth.

RIP Sir

I didn't realise he was that old. I remember him mainly in As Time Goes By, with his love of custard tarts

Yeah, Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig in Blackadder.

Stick some underpants on your head, and two pencils up your nose, they’ll think you’re mad and send you back to Blighty.

RIP
