Oxford City vs Northampton
1-1 at the break, Oxford more than holding their own, James Roberts looks a prospect. I don't think he'll be playing at that level for long on this evidence.

Played well Oxford City.
A young fit side that played without fear.

Yet another shock Oxford travel to Shrewsbury in the 2nd round. That Roberts missed a penalty, but I don't suppose that'll be an issue for us, as we never get pens awarded. Could he make the step up, I have no idea, but if our budgets are tight, then the time to pounce is when players are still at these sort of levels, and before other clubs are interested in them.

This is the key for me. You can invest a million in 10 players based on pure potential. 3 might work, 1 might be a great success. We had people on here toting Ziyech when he struggled to get a game at Ajax. Now look.tiger76 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 10:12 pmYet another shock Oxford travel to Shrewsbury in the 2nd round. Spot potential early (and before Wyscout)

When Ziyech signed for Ajax he played 28 games in his first season, 34 in his second, 29 in his 3rd and 21 in his last (they only have 34 league games a season) which season was he struggling to get a game ?CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 8:28 amThis is the key for me. Autumn of 2016. Got suspended (red card in Europe?) then played just cup games.
You’re welcome

I though we were linked with Ziyech before he went to Ajax?

So he signed for Ajax on the 30th August 2016, sent off 2 weeks later in the europa league and then only played in cup games is your claim ?
He played 28 league games out of 34 that same season, I would suggest you are talking s***e

Oh it’s not a claim it’s there factually for you to read.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 8:49 am

You've been sat in the sun too long love, when you have cooled off could you please explain how someone being sent off in the Europa league and then played just cup games (your actual words used) played in 28 of the 34 league games that same season, also the season you as you put it factually stated he was struggling to get a game.CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 8:58 amOh it’s not a claim it’s there factually for you to read.
