How have you arrived at the figure that the rest of the club employees would be earning an average £250k pa based on royboy’s comment that non of our players are earning close to £75k pw?

Where are you getting your ridiculous numbers from? And furthermore, why does it upset you so much we have players on £70k+?

I don’t know what you’re talking about, I haven’t provided any numbers or commented on whether or not we have players on £70k+ pw.

I'm guessing they just being a massive throbber for the sake of it.

Neither have I apart from the MOTD highlights, he's played in all 7 PL games. and they've won 5 and lost 2, however if my stats are correct he doesn't yet have a goal or an assist to his name, now of course that doesn't tell the whole story, but it does suggest he's not finding the jump to the PL as easy as some thought, he is still only young though, and they have signed him for the long term, so I don't think Dean Smith will be rushing to any rash decisions about him just yet.

Thanks Tiger, I've heard a few mixed report. Vegas says excellent, heard a few others saying poor. Start to the season suggests he hasn't been playing badly.

Will be interesting to see the view if Villa's form dips.

It's no wonder some posters are disappointed with our transfer windows if they expect £20/30m signings as standard, and just for the record, no it wasn't a good window for us.

I'm somewhat confused why anyone would know what our top earners actually get paid, I'm certainly not privy to that info, but I'll be staggered if it's anywhere near the numbers suggested, 75k a week I somehow think there's been some exaggerating with those claims, and aren't a lot of our wages bonus related, hence why if we finish higher up the table, then the monies earnt goes mainly to the 1st team squad, as it rightly should if they're doing the business on the park.

Seems to take an age to update too - Dwight’s number might’ve been right two seasons ago but certainly won’t be now.

I can knock that one on the head immediately - the fact is that Gibson was signed because we were one short in the centre of defence and had been for a year since Keane's departure to Everton. Ben Mee was never going anywhere.

Most sites have very similar figures for the top earners.

Between those and the figures mentioned on here, I'd say they're fairly close.
Certainly closer than those saying £75k a week...
