Dom, we will both be acknowledging another season in the PL next year.
And the bitter irony will be that you will be happy and I will be sad that we will have to endure another year in the cesspot that is the PL.
Just because I'm being realistic doesn't mean I want us to go down. Why spit your dummy out? I could list every reason I think we won't survive if you like but im sure you can figure some of them out but I will give you a few :-

1) Bad relationship between SD and the board
2) Injuries
3) Lack of depth
4) Tarks likely off in jan imo
5) Current points total/poor performances
6) Unlikely to invest in Jan or at least significantly and I don't mean an under 23s squad player

There's more if you like?

Dom, our Liz is usually on the wind up and is often trying to play devils advocate, but badly. I try so hard to ignore her (?), but just sometimes I get drawn in to reply. Don’t worry about it

Dom , I don’t know why you think I’m spitting my dummy out . Fitting that one of DA’s disciples feels the need to butt in. Maybe he doesn’t take well to someone having a different opinion to him
Your list is long enough thanks but considering this is a thread about Tarkowski you sure got a lot of your chest

You're spitting your dummy out as you're saying I'd be happy if we got relegated. That to me is a stupid comment when I'm giving you valid reasons as to why I think we will go down. No need to be like that just because I have a different opinion and it definitely doesn't mean I don't love the club as much as you. If you asked a man utd fan if they think they are going to win the league and they answered no would you criticise them? Its about being realistic and of course it is only an opinion and at the end of the day the day that is mine Liz

And of course the threads about Tarky but he is essential in staying up imo and is in the list of reasons as to why I think we will go down

.... Or selling club adding a few Mill because they know we're desperate... It puts it out there, which it shouldn't be.
Try publishing your employers confidential business dealings and see what happens.
Do you really think that agents and players don't talk? That other clubs were totally unaware of this?

Dom, please read my original response again. You got the wrong end of the stick. My reference to you being happy is if we stayed up not get relegated.
Don’t get drawn in by other posters with a clear agenda , I had no intention and still don’t of upsetting you because you seem genuine.
Again this does not refer to you but there is a saying that wisdom extends beyond a stray wet dog who doesn’t know it rains. Not quite in the Psotto and Eric Cantona Finishing school of quotes but covers some posters on here.
It’s up to you whether you acknowledge my assurance to you but it would be nice if you did

You’d have to admit there’s a fair amount of tribalism on the board.

People are quick to align themselves with others of a likeminded orientation and dismiss all others. 70% of the board is the blind leading the blind.

Then there’s the swing vote, their input is determined by the rationale argument being put forth by each individual.

Then there’s the truest despots, those who have multiple accounts and switch between these to back their own views/thoughts.

And finally there are the lurkers, and the truly crazy, and they’re best left alone.

DA describes me as a clown yet is the chief reason so many threads have had to be closed down. I told you the other poster jumps to his tune as he did on the night of the infamous Devil’s list of posters he didn’t like. Of course you know who jumped in only to have to issue an apology to another poster who challenged him.
I’m afraid these are the type of posters that people have in mind when they say they are fed up sometimes with this board .
Don’t get me wrong I’ve had arguments with others and sometimes I’ve regretted some of the things I’ve said but you can tell the good posters because they take you at face value and don’t hold grudges. Wish that was the case with all and in the real world you agree to disagree. However anonymous people in front of a keyboard are not always like who you meet in the real world.

I haven't described you as a clown ever and I think there's only a couple of times ive ben involved in discussions that has led to threads being closed down.

I think you might be confusing me with someone else and for that I am deeply offended

As I said....basket case

Look Zlatan , both myself and Dom were able to sort our misunderstanding in a friendly adult manner without your interference , which to put it less than mildly was wrong, offensive and deserving of my derision.
I am happy to be friends with everyone on this board and have already acknowledged that I can be sharp sometimes. There is still time for both of us to deal with differences of opinion in the right manner , what do you say?

happy to let it slide, but you constantly refer to me as a DA fanboi when I have no idea who he/she actually is, all I do is agree with their viewpoint on occasion and people think we're the same person - because I dont protest and argue with them the assumption remains, who am I to correct the idiots...???

You also incorrectly assumed my viewpoint in regards to the club, I am sure we'll do our best to do well this season, I see the issues but nothing is insurmountable.

Also, if you use the quote function, we'll be able to see who you are discussing the finer points with - instead of perhaps misunderstanding your responses and you being misconstrued.

That’s great! No mores references to the Devil from me. I completely empathise because it will not have escaped your notice I have the same problem. But with references to another poster. I honestly believe some posters do it because they are trying to undermine your point of view and it’s the only way they can counter your arguments.
I have started to stop enjoying the football and one of the reasons is all the negativity from some posters. There are many other reasons though.
You are right about the quote function and I must learn how to do it .
Thanks for the advice and your response, it is appreciated

The board and Dyche must of know in the summer that Tarks wanted to leave , and probably would of been allowed to ( 30m plus ) but for Mee being injured . There was no way the club could of started the season with both of them missing . Maybe if he'd been told he could leave in January , he wouldn't have made the interview and we'd have plenty of time to search for a replacement . Tarks has been a great player for us , so i wish him well for the future .
We did start the season with both missing
