If he’s made close to a billion from running a succesful business he’s probably too much sense to invest in Burnley.

On a serious note. I know someone who he was involved in business with who is an absolutely huge claret and had family on the board before now. 😳

Sadly not in cash or you’d have to think he was a possible buyer?

Seen another piece that says this takes his net worth up to £1.5b. He was worth £600m in 2018. Fair play to him at that age. Had an idea and ran with it.

Not sure someone who is a success and also supported the tories over Corbyn would go down too well with some fans.

The thought of a tax-dodging, tory-supporting, Cheshire-dwelling billionaire will get plenty on here turned on .

I gathered it wasn’t really Blackpool fc. It was a lame attempt at humour.

My uncle used to through his business. Despite being a a huge claret and sponsoring us many times in matchday.

It’s pretty common. I’m sure customers who aren’t Burnley fans preferred being entertained there than on the JHL.

I used to use them myself now and again despite being as anti Man Utd as you can get. Was always good to go though. Good football. Food. Entertainment.

Just looked on their website, no wonder he has made a fortune if people are willing to pay those prices  Good on them for making it a success.
