Hi, looking for suggestions for very basic video editing/film making software for a computer not phone. i have a go pro and just want to edit and fit the vidoe's together, nothing special, maybe add a title thats all. TIA.

there used to be Windows Moviemaker which had the basics in it, but that has now been replaced with a very basic Video Editor in the Photos app on Windows 10. More info here and other things to try too

I run a digital marketing agency and we do a lot of videos for clients.

Have a look at Vidnami. Very good for adding text to the clips and putting separate video clips together. We also use Vyond, but that's animations.

I use handbrake. Google for download and then for tutorials. It’s free open source.

Adobe SPARK is free and not bad and SPLICE is a free app thats OK , but a bit limited.

Forgot to mention - you can also edit in YouTube. It all depends how far you want to go with it.
