So thankfully the international break is out of the way and now the proper footy can recommence.

Newcastle-Chelsea is the early game, and Frank's not happy about that, even so Chelsea can be the latest team to hit the summit with a win, I think they'll manage it but it won't be easy up there.

Hendrick has been benched by the Geordies, and Wilson is out, the bad news for the Geordies is Joelinton starts.

Suspect that’s the last we’ll see of Hendrick in a regular starting role. No way he’ll get the same level of loyalty in that regard as he got here.

Newcastle look poor. Hopefully they’ll get dragged down towards our end of the table.

They've looked poor all season, and yet somehow they've amassed 11 points, they could easily get dragged into the mix, without Callum Wilson they are toothless.

And it's a good job there's not 50k worth of Geordies in every other week, if he felt the pressure here and it got to him, he will certainly feel it up there.

How on earth do Newcastle get teams to miss so many easy chances when they play them?

Chelsea have had a few easy chances to score.

Game over Newcastle haven't mustered a shot on target yet over an hour in, and people think we are anti-football, Bruce is just as bad if not worse, they possess a £40m striker on their books, and they can't even trouble the opponents keepers.

Apparently he's scores 2 goals in 45 games.

A bargain at £40 million! :)

1 in 1 is a great record.

Not when it’s 1 in 1 season though

Bournemouth come from 2-0 down at half time , to beat Reading 4-2 to go top.

More surprisingly, isnt Bournemouth coming back and scoring 4, it was Solanke who got 2 of them!

Reading's season is rapidly unravelling at a rate of knots, that's 4 losses in a row now, and yet they're still top for now.

All 3 of the relegated teams are going well, and they might all make an immediate return come the spring.

Bournemouth are more likely to stay there, both Norwich & Watford have a strong challenge on the go also.

Watford already 1 to the good at QPR, the big gums are flexing their muscles now.

Win. Spent far too much to be anywhere near the bottom come the end of the season, and they have Grealish to carry them.

Good game Villa vs Brighton with Brighton more than playing their part. They've not had the best of results this season but Potter has transformed their style of play. There has been some recruitment but also an element of using the players they already had that are comfortable on the ball more (eg March, Bissouma etc). When SD goes, do we have enough footballers in the squad to change our style of play?

Kicked his shin after the slightest of touches on the ball. Theatrical dive by the villa player but still a penalty for me.

Rovers finished 1-1 they still can't beat anybody in the top half. They're already falling off the play-off pace such a shame.

Changing a pen decision has to be a clear and obvious in any case. Oliver gave it and then changed his mind looking at the monitor. Astonishing decision.

Amazing decision by Oliver - doesn’t matter if you get the ball or not, you can’t take the player out afterwards

Only a handful of games in and already three results away from the team in 16th. Still early, but we badly need a win on Monday
