A real sh!tty Holland’s pie, served at nuclear temperatures. For context, I’ll hopefully be using a frail spork to eat it with in my seat in the Cricketfield stand.

Hopefully being able to go on holiday abroad (though I guess finding a job should come first)
Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
Eating a red hot meat and tatty pie whilst watching Mbappe twirl is way around the Liverpool defences, laying off the ball to Muller who finds HM Son at the far post to nob Burnley top of the European Super League.

The whole match day experience at the turf. A good old away day. Sitting in a pub all day with friends and family having a good laugh. Hugging parents. Watching games on the telly with fans in. Moving house. Bring it on!

Just some normality tbh.
Whether that be football fans allowed back in stadium, or just my local cinema being open again.
Even being able to take my 5yr old to an indoor soft play area would be handy on the weekends I've got her.

A real world where we can go to football, cricket or whatever we want to do and a world where we can be with the people who matter to us.

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
For me it's been a strange situation. My business has grown 40% due to people being at home and being online. And other than my close friends and family, I'm not really the biggest fan of humans!
But I'm looking forward to there being more of an atmosphere at the football and darts.

I’m hoping to get to some festivals again next year. Good vibes, good people and a good time. How 2020 has robbed us of that.
Obviously I’d like the clarets to still be a premier league club come aug 2021.

Nights out, days out, holidays, football, seeing friends and family properly. A big party - in fact I think we should get an extra bank holiday next year, once this is over.

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
Just the simple pleasures in life, going to the pub quiz, visiting local museums, hopefully attending my 1st game on the turf in over 30 years, possibly taking in one of the England test matches next summer, or failing that a Lancashire match at OT, and all being well a trip to Lewis in the Scottish islands, that's something we've been meaning to undertake for some time, but various reasons have prevented it even pre-covid.
Obviously Burnley maintaining PL status is one we'll all share, and putting my fantasy hat on England winning the Euro's with Pope in goal.

Regarding football, renewing my Premier League Season Card.
Having all my family and friends safe and well is a priority over anything else though.

Glasgow it's on my profile.

With much pleasure
Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
There are some positives to look forward to
Blackburn wont go up so no swapping of places.
A couple of new ground ticks for me.
Saturday 3pm kick are almost standard.
MG will finally be gone.
For some, SD might also go so that will be a positive too.
Better parking options.
More room on the concourse and smaller queues for the kiosk and toilets.
Miners will be less busy.
Tuesday night games
Any more?

This young cocks father won 1st club for us and the mother has been put to stock as she returned home injured from her 1st race. The mother of this cock is a half sister to "The Fifty cock another top breed.

Yes we'll have to arrange something nearer the time, doubt it'll happen this season though alas.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 3:04 pmWe will have to meet up for a Burnley home game when we're allowed back in.
Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
I've got tickets for a few of England's games at the Euros so hoping that goes ahead as planned. Just being able to do simple things like go to the pub will also be great.

Re: What are you looking forward to in 2021
Vaccines, lots and lots of vaccines - enough to make everyone safe from covid-19.
Then, I'm thinking a look at pandemic planning. Let's see if we can be better prepared next time - and not just a "desk top" walk through of "flu" pandemic plans.
Everyone keeping healthy and those that want/need to be back working again.
Then on with my retirement travelling plans.

I think it will. Sure, there are the random nutters, but the majority will have the vaccine and think from Feb-March things will improve.

Being able to see family without restriction is a big one for me. Also, I have a trip planned to Mexico in May to dive there during manta and whale migration season so really hoping that goes ahead!Be nice to get some warm water diving back in!
