Looks like they're well and truly struggling with it.

Wellsy, please can you tell us Sheffield United are going to stay up.
Just so I know it isn't going to happen

Like us, they have struggled with injuries, smallish quality squad and no home crowd.
Cheerio them.....or will they get a full house in time?

They are so short of confidence. The longer the losing streak goes on the more desperate they will become and then the losing margins become bigger.
As mentioned above, last season's worst losing margin was 2 - 1, today's loss is 3 - 0. After a while draws don't count for anything & they need wins which compounds the lack of confidence.

Well I think we can say they're gone.
Ramsdale getting relegated from the PL 2 seasons on the trot must be a first for a GK.

And not let any in, that would help.
They are roughly double worse at both ends this season.

Oh dear oh dear, now we have to look over our shoulder at Sheffield Utd. This, and the ‘much improved’ Fulham. Oh and the improving WBA. I’m glad we have such confident fans. Could I just ask why, with our current form, we have to worry about the form of possibly the worst bottom three in years? Come on guys, we are possibly looking at mid table with our current points per game haul given our awful start. I don’t even care too much if Fulham win, we’re still not going down. It’s just not happening.warksclaret wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 5:14 pmNo one could work their style of play out last year. This season they have spent significantly and brought in a number of players, but not necessarily started them. They seem to be easier to work out this year, but I have noticed (a little bit like us), find it hard to change tactics when going down a goal or too.We need them NOT to start winning

Sheff Utd played well last season, not as good as their position, but had nothing but luck along the way.
This season they aren't playing much worse, better than their current position, but having no luck at all.
It's the way it goes sometimes.
