Almost made a post yesterday thinking J Rod would start and it’ll the point we look back on similar to Heaton coming back and Mee to CH.

Here’s hoping!!!

That’s our best team, a very strong bench too, 3 points would do us all some good!

Cork apart that's our best XI in my view, glad Charlie, Jay & JBG are all starting, and a few decent options off the bench, and no Zaha for the Eagles, that could be the break we need to kickstart our campaign,

That's as good as it can be for team selection. Can't go to meet the Benalmadena clarets due to early closing of the bars etc. Come on boys let's have three points pleeeze.

That's got to be our strongest match day squad so far this season.

And no Zaha for Palace.

Got a good feeling about this one....

Not bad. Possibly would have preferred Bards to Lowts for this one but let's 'ave it!

Eze looks like he could be the new Zaha - without the constant moaning

Want to see McNeill back to his best tonight and really having a go at Clyne if he starts

Wood and Jay upfront, McNeil and JBG on the wings and no Zaha for Palace. A real opportunity for us to kick start our season with some good attacking football and hopefully get our first win under our belts.

On their day Palace are a good team and they may be outplay us and beat us even if we play well but at the very least we need to show some attacking intent and put them under pressure for large parts of the game

The match day threads are normally good fun and decent standards of etiquette are displayed mostly. Sure some get too emotional about certain calls, but all in all things are normally fine.

Bournemouth 2018/19 - first half and McNeil, right in front of us, gave Clyne a torrid time. Having said that, it was Clyne in a Howe style defence and not a Hodgson style defence. What's the difference, one can defend, the other can't.

Quite a change of seasons here in SW Ontario! Snowed all day Sunday, dumped about 14 cm of snow  Not unusual around these parts, but this is way too early for my likings!

Anyway, looks like we have our strongest line up on show today, we really NEED three points!

Come on you Clarets :D

Yep, sure is. Theres likely some football to be played in and around their box.
How long does he get tho? If he hasn’t scored by minute 65 he will be off I reckon. Let’s see is the answer I suppose...only asking as Barnes usually gets around 80.... sometimes more.

Anyway, COME ON BURNLEY... nows the time!
