Re: How are people feeling?
Glad we have the first win. Not too worried before the game but not any less worried now though, there's a long way to go.
Squad depth and our lack of creativity and vision going forward is something we need to improve on. You will always have the odd miss like today but creating so little total chances is our weak spot. We didn't deserve 3 points today.
I'm sure it will get better if Gudmundsson and Brady get back some fitness.. But key word is if.
I think we'll be okay and if we can sign a right winger and better backup for Mee we'll have even better security.

Very relieved and happy they we managed to get over the line with the 3 points but couldn't help feeling that it may have been very different if Zaha had been playing. The very high percentage of games that Palace fail to get anything from when he is absent reflects that also. We still gave the ball away far too cheaply at times and appeared casual in possession.
Still, cannot complain too much as we got the win we needed and the precious 3 points.
Onwards and upwards from here hopefully.

Zaha missing might be true, but how many games has Ben missed. Jay Rod, Brady, JBG, Tarks .....Players missing affects everyone, some more than others. What ifs count for nothing.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 11:05 amVery relieved and happy they we managed to get over the line with the 3 points but couldn't help feeling that it may have been very different if Zaha had been playing. Very happy, it does feel like the gloom is slowly lifting.
When you consider the players we have missed this season. The current form of the teams we have played. Our, let's be honest, poor football. To be outside the bottom 3 with a game in hand is amazing.
