Clunky Website for Club Online Shop
Clunky Website for Club Online Shop
I know this has been mentioned several times before but trying to purchase from the online shop is such a tedious affair. This website is not what you would expect from a Premier League Football Club. I just wanted to order a couple of bobble hats for my sons for Christmas and in the end gave up. Ordinarily I would have just bought them on a match day, however the only option currently is online. Very poor.

I agree. Not at all optimised for mobile. Anyone have any idea when this will get an overhaul? It’s so hard to search and browse it must be losing us money.Jenny55 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 1:54 pmI know this has been mentioned several times before but trying to purchase from the online shop is such a tedious affair. Ha ha. Well go away and try it on an iPad if you think it is easy. Then please report your findings/frustrations.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 1:56 pmhttps://shop.burnleyfc.com/claretsstore ... aps-&-hats

Have you got an iPad Bosscat? If so try and order a few items then you may have some idea of the problem.
Re: Clunky Website for Club Online Shop
Your not rocket science post is probably typical of some of the “smart @rsed” responses posters are subjected to on this board. I merely wanted to highlight how difficult it is to navigate my way around the clunky website. I did then say I use an iPad. If you don’t own an iPad then you probably aren’t experiencing the same problems. Thanks anyway for your constructive help.

Most websites are designed only with chrome in mind nowadays so try using that.
Call me old fashioned but I still find ordering stuff on an actual computer easier, if not because of poor website design or being forced to download an app, because it is bigger and easier to see more stuff at once.

The online shop is clunky if you use Safari as your browser. Firefox works ok

Didn't want to clutter up the board with a new topic.
Am I right in saying shirts go on sale in Jan?
I see there's 25% off + free shipping on training gear for Black Friday.

Still seems expensive even with 25%off. Iam sure they are all market rate and not a criticism of the club per se but £25 for a polo seems steep.

A sale isn't a sale unless there's 50% off.
