Whilst hard on those in tier 3, we’re only talking about competitive advantage in a sporting sense. It would be ridiculous to restrict fans from returning in areas deemed safe enough to do say. It would be akin to keeping all pubs shut across the country until the whole country is deemed low risk.

well 2000 Burnley fans could make a heck of a noise and would be a boost to our players so it would give us an advantage if we were allowed to attend.Maybe 2000 fans spread out inside an 60,000 capacity stadium would not be as effective.

I’m not sure they could make a heck of a noise spread out across the stadium.

I would prefer to wait for full crowds personally. It will be like going on a pre-season friendly against League 1 opposition.

No surprise. But hoping that the clubs who do get fans back in can help make it safe and easy for others to follow. Its a positive step forward.

Besides, id rather someone else be the early adopter on going back to crowds!

That would have been based on the level of funding they receive from Central Government dependent on which tier they are in.

For christ's sake stop being so selfish and just let some true, like minded fans (whoever they support) have a chance to go to a match if it is deemed by others to be safer than Burnley
These first few weeks will then hopefully be the catalyst for all clubs to have fans back in the new year

The sooner all people comply with the rules - the sooner we can get at least some fans back on the Turf.

Apart from anything else, I think it would be tactically foolish to reject any sort of "concession" from the government towards letting people back in. If clubs don't take what they can get, the rules may exclude them altogether next time.
