Re: Cavani....
I've probably said this before but definitely one of my favorite players. Never going to happen but I'd have loved to see him play for Burnley. Ah, one can dream. Really enjoyed watching him play for Uruguay in the last world cup. They were a decent side.

Re: Cavani....
While it's great to watch Burnley... sometimes the perceived top 6 have a standout world class player in tow. Cavani Is one....would love to have seen ibramovich at turf moor a couple of seasons back but he was out injured... Costa for me was a up there to.. If only for his antics.williamjblazkowicz wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:59 amI've probably said this before but definitely one of my favorite players. Re: Cavani....
I liked Costa as well. A spoiled brat at times but, like Cavani, a tough player with some real quality. However, Cavani is streets ahead for me. Shame he spent as long as he did in France.tim_noone wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:47 amWhile it's great to watch Burnley... sometimes the perceived top 6 have a standout world class player in tow. Re: Cavani....
Costa was great. But yes agree on cavani. Great talent and be a real shame if we don’t get to see him live.
As above I’m a Burnley fan through and through and only want to watch us win. But still great to see such talent on our pitch in a league game and watch us try and get one over on them.

Re: Cavani....
Cavani is a great player...a real warrior and no wonder Uruguay, a country with a population of under 4 million, were a world force with him and Suarez up front. Can't remember who it was against but my favourite goal of the last World Cup was a fantastic header scored by Cavani in the knock-out stages.
On an aside Cavani would be a shoe-in for the "Medieval footballers XI" also featuring the likes of Ribery and Beardsley.

Re: Cavani....
Drogba was immense to see in person
Re: Cavani....
Drogba is my choice out of any forward who’s played in the PL. absolute beast. Costa was great too. Kane is developing in the same type of mould lately. If he does Spurs will win the league.

Do it, lets have a medieval footballer X1 thread. Is it simply on looks because all them you mentioned qualify or can we have names as well such as Le Tissier and St John?
