:o no-one had started this thread so here goes.

The big headline is Real slumping to a 2-0 defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk. This leaves their qualifying hopes very much in the balance with one game remaining.

City and Liverpool both goalless early doors.

In the Champ Cardiff, PNE & QPR all winning, Rooney's Derby 0-0 at home to Coventry.

Sunderland trialling again at home, clearly sacking the manager hasn't solved their problems.

Few strange results tonight in CL - looking like the number of games is catching up on the big teams in other leagues too.

2 points separating the top 7 in the Championship, even by the usual standards of that league the competition is fierce.

Yet another win for Tranmere that's 8 on the spin now. And Morecambe followed up their cup heroics by beating Barrow.
