Fans back on the turf vs Wolves?
Manchester Utd are making provisional plans for fans returning for their game at home in anticipation of Greater Manchester being granted tier two status in the week leading up to the game. Does anyone know if we’re making plans for our game against Wolves on the 21st in anticipation on the same thing happening in Lancashire?

We had plans in place for today's game had we not been placed in tier 3 so I would assume everything is ready.1975Claret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:43 pmManchester Utd are making provisional plans for fans returning for their game at home in anticipation of Greater Manchester being granted tier two status in the week leading up to the game. So have we decided on a ballot or blocks of tickets?

That was sort of my question... Utd have announced how they will administer it, I’d be seriously p**sed if we couldn’t get it arranged before the game. Our ticket office aren’t the best in normal times!

Nothing to do with the ticket office I can assure you. They get blamed so often because they are carrying out orders from above. As said, they would have been ready to allow people in today had we not gone into tier 3.1975Claret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:49 pmThat was sort of my question... I can't see us coming out of Tier 3 anytime soon.

Not sure if it’s related. Or even relevant to new measures. But they’ve been doing work on the entrance to the away end this week and what looked like new turn styles.1975Claret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:43 pmManchester Utd are making provisional plans for fans returning for their game at home in anticipation of Greater Manchester being granted tier two status in the week leading up to the game. Re: Fans back on the turf vs Wolves?
I was talking to someone a few weeks ago who was inside the ground for the Spurs game that we lost 1-0. We saw the game on TV and could see we were unfortunate to lose although once Son scored we didn't offer anything. He said he felt a crowd would have lifted us once we'd gone 1-0 down. No guarantees but we'd have given it a go.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:36 amI am convinced we'd have won yesterday with a bit of encouragement from a crowd.

I think the crowd would have made a huge difference against SouthamptonClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 12:02 pmI was talking to someone a few weeks ago who was inside the ground for the Spurs game that we lost 1-0. Returning fans will be a massive shot in the arm for the team, the fans, the club and the town.

Thinking about it I’d agree. I just happened to speak to this person a few days after the Spurs game which is why he mentioned it.
And thread now locked due to posters thinking it appropriate to turn into a COVID thread.
