MOTD 2
just wish it was wright on tonight instead of the insipid dunces we had to endure.
arsenal still had a little pre match film though, never let it be said the BBC would ignore them.
I hate them and their horrific fans. I pray for their demise every night.
The media are besotted by these nobodies.
It is a mania for london teams , and these duds take the biscuit. they cheat to beat. and usually the officials give them a supporting hand. Not tonight though, their filthy tactics cost them dearly.
I hope their season continues to fall apart in the full glare of the televised spotlight. **** them.

Tony Livesey is struggling to hide his smile and maintain an impartial stance.
I don't really care how the BBC portray our victory, but Alex Scott gave us plenty of credit in her after match comments , so I fail to see what your seeing.

we win, but the analysis is on what they need to do, had they beaten us, there would be nothing about us. I hate the poxy gunners with a passion.

Re: MOTD 2
Did we watch a different program?
They were very determined to not take anything away from us, mentioned our workrate, how we have recovered our form etc.
Yet you seem to think it was all about Arsenal...

Alex Scott is everywhere. I woke up this morning and half expected her to be staring at me when I turned over.

Re: MOTD 2
the look on her face when mark chapman stopped her in her tracks, then she realised it might be prudent to give us a namecheck. she wanted to wax lyrical about them, and was determined to do her bit as a londoner. . so glad we beat them.

Re: MOTD 2
The media love all southern clubs and especially so the London ones. Look at west ham, the media are all over them even though they haven't ever really won anything. Even the government gave them a big new ground for free. Shows where the priorities lie in this country. And same old Arsenal did cheat today, should have finished with 9 men. Something dodgy is going in when VAR looks at it but doesn’t tell the ref to go view the monitor which clearly goes against Fifa instructions. Corrupt as out. Suppose the ref couldn’t send 2 arsenal players off because the media would be all over them saying how very dare they send of two arsenal greats. How dare they. How dare little old burnley win a game against a London club. How very dare anyone from north of Watford every do anything ever. Ergh. Well we got 3 points and I suppose that is all that matters.

I see they didn't comment on the respect shown to Arsenal fans by aubameyang, when he didn't celebrate his goal

Its particularly gratifying to beat Arsenal though. They have enjoyed some spawny results against us of late. In part thanks to Less Mason and his mates.

Alex Scott, as well as being a quite astute, and well educated presenter, also serves as a lovely barometer for gammonness.
