My stream is absolutely terrible on Amazon prime, I don’t know about anybody else’s? Commentary is often ahead of the picture, and has been buffering on the odd occasion .
Commentary is behind on mobile and tablet I've found
But through the sky app it's Bob on

Mine too through the app on my TV. Switched to the app on sky Q and it’s fine. Bizarre

Another one here who’s stream stopped working during the Liverpool game. I assume too many trying to watch in UHD has impacted the system. Not good for Amazon.

I am streaming directly through Amazon , I tried it through my fire stick which was useless, then I used an Xbox app, which is much better but not the best quality in all honesty.
Only issue I’ve had with Amazon, barring the poorer picture / motion, is via the TV app where there can be a speech sync delay, which is off putting. I don’t get that on any other device though and never had any buffering issues at all.

The chap in charge of Amazon streaming services was answering questions on Radio 4 this afternoon, he said they had approx 2000 people working this evening providing this service!

I've watched four games over the past two days all via Sky Q and had no problem with any of them. Picture quality fine too.

Depending which platform you are using the app might be flakey, always have a laptop or fire stick or something as backup in case something fails. Even if its just your phone or tablet you can access the stream on there instead in case something goes wrong.

IPTV isn't quite at the level of reliability of broadcast TV, so its good to have a backup method. Especially because internet in the UK can also be pretty unreliable, especially if you're with one of the big name ISPs. A hard wired connection to the TV or whichever smart device you're using works best.

Viewing and commentary fine for me tonight via the built in app on my Panasonic TV.

However, I have it hardwired into a TP Link.

Just signed up for my 30 day free trial via my sky Q box. Quite easy really, but glad I didn’t leave it until 5 minutes before kick-off like I do usually!

Prime coverage

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Thu Dec 17, 2020 5:21 pm

Looking forward to us on prime. Always the best coverage (bbc aside).

Karen Carney tonight who always gives the best coverage. She was excellent in our last visit to villa and at West Ham.

Carney was on co-commentary at West Ham last season and was absolutely dreadful, as bad as anyone I've heard.

I thought it was Beglin tonight.

Oh ffs please tell me Carney isn’t doing the commentary .? Nothing wrong with birds working in football /tv but the female voice just does not work when doing football commentary . Works ok with summarising like on Sky Sat multi games etc .

She was excellent. Impartial. Although tonight as a Birmingham fan she might not be.

She’s as good as any about right now for me.

Just let me and CT be dinosaurs please ! It’s not Carney per se it’s just women doing stretches of commentary does my head in ( though as summarisers I think they’re decent )

A bloody grand 😲 mines 30 days free + a £5 voucher off a purchase 😁

Joking apart ... Its a cracking picture much better than a dodgy stream that freezes or goes back 30 seconds

I tested my Prime. Picture was ok before clicking watch live. Then it said it was going to go to UHD.

Horrendous picture!

My wifi is 100mb so not me!

My booklclub was fine.
