Hasn't he been manager there for about 60 years, they certainly give him time to get it right!

Time to get it right?

Accys budget is about the same as a big shop at Asda. Every year they're in the football league is a minor miracle.

Wow. That’s some effort. I’d be surprised if they went up. But having said that I was surprised when they made it to league two.

Hopefully they can go up. Stay up. And earn some good money.

Great story

God could you imagine!

And make it Leeds while they are at it. Along with Forest, Sheffield x 2 and above the likes of Derby and Rovers.. :D

Blackburn v Morecambe in League One has a better ring to it 🤭 as has Accy playing PNE in the Championship 😁

Accy would do well to ask for the game to be played at the Turf.

He left Accy in 2012, to manage Rochdale but didn’t make the grade. Ended up back at Accrington in 2014, and picked up where he left off,it seems that John Coleman and Accrington were just ment to be together! Good luck to them both!!!!!

Just a shame for them that most people in the town support either us or Rovers.

I think if Dyche went to Rochdale and then came back to us it would have to be after a few years of progressive relegations.

My uncle will be pleased. He's a die hard Stanley fan. I remember him saying a good 25 years ago they'd play in the football league. I have a soft spot for them so I hoped for it too. Don't think either of us envisaged them being in a play off spot for the Championship though.

Putting a lot of faith in some youngsters who have been brought in on loan from the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle plus his knowledge of players in lower leagues seems to be working well

Great little club are Stanley. Seems to be most supporters in that divisions favourite away day, when allowed to attend of course. They may not have much money but they certainly have class. From helping the family of the Rotherham fan who passed away during a game there, to donating thousands of shirts and tickets to local kids. As an Accy lad I wish them the very best, unless they're playing Burnley.
