Passing forward instead of mauling about passing across the back four and then getting Nick to lump it would be a start
Get the ball out to our wing backs and play pass and move finding players moving up in support.Encouraging Dwight to take defenders on down the wing and get in early crosses for our strikers

The team isn't yet confident IMO. They've got the mojo in defence and are confident that we can defend all day against anyone bar Manchester City, but the team as a whole isn't confident that they can go out and be better than the opposition and beat them by outplaying them. They're relying at present on beating them by defending like fury and snatching a goal.

I don't normally listen to managers but I heard Dean Smith on Sky last night.
I think he said something like 'I could bring in only five new players this summer'!!!!!

It's about quality
Sheff Utd have signed some duds which is what can happen
When you're up against limited funds then it becomes a serious issue for survival as you rely on players you have some, in the Blades case are not good enough

That is what is frustrating. When the belief is there, this team have proved time and time again they can play a bit. I really believe we were holding Aston Villa while only in second gear last night.... We only needed to get to gear three to win and we have 5.dsr wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 4:15 pmThe team isn't yet confident IMO. Re: ARTICLE: We have to find that attacking element to our game
The team confidence is going to build as we continue to pick up these good results against teams who will likely finish in the top half of the table at the end of the season.
I'm going to pick out Robbie Brady and Charlie Taylor as the two players who have the ability to soon be able to enhance their current game to give us that attacking element to our game that Dyche wants.
What do they need? In Brady`s case it's simply more injury free games, and in Taylor's case it's Dyche's say so.
Will it happen? I'm ready for it like all Burnley fans.

That brought back wonderful memories of chanting 'attack, attack, attack' on the Turf in the good old days.
Along with 'in the net, in the net, in the net'

With the lack of fans in grounds you can hear the managers instructions quite often
The Dyche mantra seems to regularly be "hold hold hold"
Unless, because it's xmas he's really saying "ho ho ho"
