Mike Garlick spent the transfer budget on brown envelopes. Genius.

Newcastle with a great chance of taking the 3 points now.

Joachim Andersen should also miss the game against us, a straight red is a 3 match ban isn't it, or is that only for violent conduct.

Should be one game but for all we know Scott could have sent him off for violent conduct judging by the penalty decision.

The dynamics of the game suggest Newcastle not good enough to get the 3 points . Come on you lazy geordies , we don’t need your help but get your arse out of gear

Newcastle have really mastered the art of hitting the deck as soon as they’re touched. Pretty effective.

Sean Dyche is certainly right when he says that football will become a non contact sport, it almost is now.

Genuinely frustrating we’ve used up a game against Newcastle already. They’re fairly useless without Saint-Maximin and even then he’s inconsistent. Oh well.

Nervous flight back to London for Fulham as they wait to see if Scott awards Newcastle another penalty.

Phew , looked like Fulham were getting 3 points
They’ve played 2 games more than us.
No worries at the moment , we’re getting good points!

They've definitely improved defensively in the past few games, earlier in the season they were all over the shop at the back, but in their recent outings they're becoming much more difficult to beat.

That said Newcastle haven't exactly stretched them today, how on earth are Newcastle so high up in the league, on this showing they're relegation material.

Agreed, both these are relegation rivals currently so 1 point each is good. Newcastle performances/results are trending in the oposite direction to ours and they have Man City (a), Liverpool (h) and Leicester (h) in the next 3 games.

Talking to myself now...  ... but in reading the rules I read that Phillips and Klich are one yellow away from a ban, so let’s hope United draw some fouls from them tomorrow!!!

The more draws between the lower half teams the better, that's a tough looking run for Newcastle on paper anyway. Both City & Liverpool are getting into their stride now, and Leicester fare better away from home, so it's not impossible they could be still be on 18 points after that trio of fixtures, and if we have a decent Xmas we could well be ahead of them come 2021, they don't look any great shakes, and I certainly wouldn't discount them from the relegation fray, especially now the strugglers are starting to stir themselves.

I’m pleased with the result, but OMG what is the game coming to when an obvious dive, fools the officials. Even after reviewing it on the monitors, I’m slowly falling out of love with this game, it is becoming a joke. And how long did the decision take?
