What I take from reading the post on the Wolves forum is it’s a lot more pleasant , a lot more factual , nicer people and definitely more mature.

Why can’t we have a board like that ?
....cause we took the sign off the door that said 'children must be accompanied by a responsible adult'

I might be wrong but isn’t there a bit of mutual affection for each other’s teams due to Michelin’s historic presence in Burnley and Wolverhampton?
Michelin was never in Wolverhampton, that was or is Goodyear.
Dundee, Stoke and Ballymena were the other plants. Best job I ever had, ex IP department here.

There was 6 factories in the UK. You have missed Aberdeen and Belfast. The canteen refurbishment in Burnley in the 80s was done using all the relatively new equipment from the Belfast canteen following the Belfast closure.

Ah Belfast was before my time there. I'm assuming Aberdeen had shut as well or maybe I just dont recall it.

Quite a lot common sense talked on there, which is good to see for a football message board.

We used to pass the Stoke factory, which was huge, on the way to the Torch, usually on foot after thumbing it

Some classic moaning on there, I thought this forum was bad enough but the Wolves one wins hands down- getting all depressed and angry about being mid-table and losing to effing Burnley.

You have got to be kidding? Rui made two fantastic saves, they hit the bar. We had a long range strike from Neves... that was about it.

We were awful. I hate Burnley. I hate their manager, their tactics, their fans, their colours. Horrible club. I'd rather they went down than Albion. OK I've gone too far now, but you know what I mean.
