Was an outrageous pass. Need more of that decisive forward passing from all our midfield.

Delivery like that against Leeds and we will put them to the sword. Leeds are poor at the back, very good going forwards, but poor defensively.

Delivery like that game after game sees Westwood playing for a top six side.
Once every two games will suffice....

Westwood just doesn’t get the credit he deserves - which fortunately keeps him away from the top six sides
Grealish, McNeil and Westwood top of the assists list for English midfielders for the last couple of seasons

Yes, but Woody hasn’t got a good record when he’s got time one on one - if fit we should play Vidra alongside him against Leeds.

What about the ball for Taylor's cross. I thought, "He's never getting that!"

Guys, if you put in too much effort it all gets wasted.
Try less harderer.

That was wood. I thought it was over hit but just slowed down enough for Taylor to reach. Helped by the fact Charlie is rapid!

Re: Westwood’s through ball to wood
Yeah, the first half of the pass I just thought it was overhit, but he clearly saw Taylor bombing forward and had the foresight to play it. One of, if not the pass of the game.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:46 pmThat was wood. I thought it was over hit but just slowed down enough for Taylor to reach. Love it when passes are put in front of players for them to run on to. Doesn’t happen enough - we seem to always play it to feet - but I suppose it’s then more effective when we do.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:46 pmThat was wood. Can’t remember who played your namesake in first half but remember thinking it was nearly behind him!

A mention for McNeill who won the ball initially in the lead up to the goal.
