Ben Mee limping
Just seen the game.
It's not often you see a player limping and trying to run off an injury these days, and for so long too. Hard as....
Great example set by our skipper.

And Brady
Re: Ben Mee limping
Hopefully not at the expense of future games, he's more than shown how important he is to our side. Earnt us 3 points by continuing though!boatshed bill wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 7:11 pmJust seen the game.

Re: Ben Mee limping
No idea on the other two.
I just think that in an era when you see these finely tuned athletes rolling around in agony it's refreshing to see Ben just getting on with it.
I can remember when an injured player would be sent up on to the left wing until the final whistle, don't like the softies

Kicked on the Achilles early on when tackling
Accidental and Ben seemed to run it off
A fair time to recover though with Dirty Leeds on the fake Boxing Day next up

The guy was off side...
Yet the stupid way play is allowed to continue now even though he was offside meant Mee had to go in for that challenge.
It will eventually happen that a serious injury occurs due to this daftness.
I guess it will have to be a headline player getting injured to change this? eg a Sterling? Rashford? Salah?
Also had Mee brought the player down in the box would that be OK? knowing he was offside?

Re: Ben Mee limping
I do agree on this daft rule. I see no benefit to anybody why the lino can't just flag, and to cap it all you then see goals disallowed because someone has a fingernail offsideHunterST_BFC wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 8:50 pmNeedlessly kicked.

You have got a point that it'll more than likely take an injury to one of the superstars before this daft directive is changed.
If Ben had brought the guy down in the box it wouldn't have resulted in a penalty, as the offside would have been given priority, just as it was in the Manchester derby a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Ben Mee limping
Looked like a knock for Mee which I'd expect somebody like him to run off. Hopefully it doesn't flare up and he's good to go again for Leeds.

When’s the next presser? Looking forward to Sean saying he’s “touch and go”, which means “out” and me spending days praying for a miracle
