What's everyone doing for their fix ?

We're off to watch Padiham at home in the local derby v Barnoldswick Town - KO 1500 hrs.

A great opportunity to savour the great outdoors, a game of footy, a drink (or two !) and some
nuclear hot pie and peas. What's not to like ?

In the best possible sense, I do hope that you're wrong.

I have been on earlier in the season when, clearly, we weren't allowed on The Turf.

Anyone out there know for sure if spectators are to be allowed please ?

I very much doubt it. A group from Barlick town caught covid while travelling to a game away and... also passed it on to some of their wives about 3 months ago. Fact.

No fans allowed in tier 3. Also I thought all football below level 6 was postponed in the north west as the clubs can’t afford to stage the games as they have literally no income with no fans? Unless that has changed and they are starting again without fans on boxing day? Be interesting to see how the clubs get on with no income.
Also if you look at the news you will be able to see things are getting worse so if you think you might be going to football or doing anything anytime soon maybe get out from beneath that rock you are living under. Staggering that some people think they will be able to go to a football game in a tier 3 area on boxing day. Come boxing day we very well may be in tier 4.

I went to a game on Saturday in Tier 3. Up to 150 fans allowed in non-league, below ‘Conference’. It was great.

Long before Covid reared its ugly head Boxing Day games have been ruined with the inability to get tickets for family and friends to go on with you.
In the past we played Blackpool on Boxing Day and I brought along several Evertonians whose game was off.You cant go to any games now and this ritual of attending Boxing Day games with friends is destroyed

As you can see from the comments already on this thread, that the situation is quite confusing and it's
not so easy, at this time, to determine what the situation is.

For the record, laughingclaret, I've been out from under my rock for quite some time, and I suggest that you do the same
and catch up with the rest of society.

Been looking at official Govt. Guidance.(Current)
On one page it says no spectators permitted in Tier 3, but in another section it says this:

2.1.5. Spectators & children
Objective: To ensure distancing of spectators and children within sport and leisure facilities

Supporters, parents, and other spectators are only permitted within legal gathering limits, and must adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times whilst attending sporting activities:

In tier 3 areas: people cannot mix with others from outside their household or support bubble indoors. Outdoors, people cannot mix with others from outside their household or support bubble in a private garden or most public outdoor venues. However people can meet in groups of up to 6 in public outdoor spaces, including outdoor sport grounds and facilities.

So I'm no clearer, but one assumes that the clubs themselves will have taken advice and if there was an attendance of over 300 at Clitheroe last night (as stated above), then my conclusion would be that some grounds will be open for spectators. (I'm not claiming that that is the law though, it just appears to be)

Nice one, imagine the crowd if it wasn’t for Covid with no Burnley game, they’d have close to a thousand on I bet.

I went to watch Colne last week, think capacity was limited to 200. Not allowed to serve alcohol though because of Tier 3.

Hope all those who are attending BD games this year have a great time, and obviously keep safe, we don't have that option this side of the border yet, if we did I'd probably pop along and watch our nearest junior side Yoker Athletic, who play only a few hundred yards down the road from us, never mind we'll get to a game eventually, and it'll be all the more appreciated after the long wait.

P.S if anyone catches your eye make sure to mention them to our scouting team

I've got my two tickets reserved for the mighty Storks. The weather is supposed to be nice and with
bene and hot ready mixed in a flask, my best gal by my side and our Cavalier King Charles spaniel
in tow it all adds up to a lovely day out - here's hoping
