Season Ticket - Beginners guide.
After moving down South, after 40 years I have return to the nothern climes, albiet to the dark side of the white rose.
Next season I will be getting a season ticket, but which to choose? As there's no info currently available on the official website I turn to UTC.
As I'm of a certain age should I go for the Bob Lord where a lap blanket will not be ridiculed, or maybe the thin air of the windswept Longside upper where the benefit of a Benny & Hot would be appreciated. What's the opinion of the 100 Club, is a pie and pea supper still included?
Any information on cost, availability and preference would be welcome.

Obviously no season tickets on sale now but they have threatened to increase prices next season. If you are of a certain age, i.e. over 65, the most expensive season ticket this season for just a seat was £262 which is Bob Lord and Longside Upper Centre.A.Claret.Fan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 8:38 pmAfter moving down South, after 40 years I have return to the nothern climes, albiet to the dark side of the white rose.

Longside Upper Block 3 is where I sit. Spectacular view of the game, the beautiful moors and seasonally watching the Cricket

Best view in the whole ground for me would be in or around the executive seats in the Bob lord but the further away you get from them the more likely your view of the pitch will be in some way obscured.
Anywhere in the JHU is great apart from the sun setting late afternoon

Towards the back of the JHL is good in that you are undercover (as in dry..not like Donnie Brasco !) and relatively close to the pitch.

Back from row G JHU £260 a year absolute bargain
The rain only comes up as far as G row most days. We tried the Bob Lord previously, but the wooden seats played havoc with my bum

Wouldn’t swap my seat (if I could use it). Longside upper, row G, £262 on direct debit.
Very occasionally get the rain blown in and you have to take a cap when the sun is low. Otherwise perfect and with the added bonus that MDWat is in the Bob Lord.

Sat in all the stands bar the Jimmy Mac. Bob Lord is definitely the best view and stand by far.
James Hargreaves lower you get wet through and the sun is in your eyes early and late season with same applying to the upper stand.
Cricket field is a poor view and the concourse is a nightmare
