I'm in Thailand and haven't had a beer or any other alcohol for 275 days. Soda is my drink, which is just fizzy water. Not to be confused with the sugary American stuff.

Anyone who likes baileys, you must try mixing it with brandy absolutely fantastic turns a sickly boring drink into a masterpiece

My partner calls this a "Belfast Bomber" ...needs ice in it and is a great tipple.

I opened the volets this morning and the snow was falling, dusting my in-laws garden. Made me hanker for a glass of mulled wine.

Unfortunately, Yorkshire tea is the nicest tea I've tried, and had all the well known ones you find in the shops.

Worth watching the Whitehouse and Mortimer Xmas fishing special for their ridicule of Yorkshire Tea (from India!).

I can remember awhile ago there was a thread regarding tea I can’t remember who the poster was but it was suggested it’s the water that makes all the difference with the taste, you can notice the difference with the same tea depending on where you live.

Certainly does, there are even specific blends for different water acidity levels.

Tea's OK in its place which is generally third after a good bitter then red wine (Cotes du Rhone). Bailey's is like Christmas Pud, once a year is enough.

I can safely say I’ve never had an hangover or been violently sick or regretted my actions the day after off the stuff.
