Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
All of Longsidepies, Claretblue, Hunters and Bertiebee have submitted Unit Estimates identical to earlier entries. However, since there are so many guesses in the twenties and thirties it would seem unfair to suggest Amendments, though Hunters at least might consider 39 rather than 34. No other value between 20 and 40 remains available without inevitable points-sharing in the case of a win.
We now have 32 entries all told.

Pies, please see my post above. You may after all stick with your earlier estimate of 29.

In addition to the above, new entrants please note that any of 42, 43, 44, 46, 48 and 49 remain available for anyone averse to potential points-sharing.

Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
The peach slices being quite large meant that most Unit Estimates were far above the mark. In total there were only 18 in the Tin.
However, Steve1956 with 17 and Gawthorpe_view with 19 were both very close and are our Winners in this regard. They are each awarded 2.5 precious Counting-points.
Very unlucky meanwhile were what_no_pies (16) and tarkys_ears (20).
With regard to a 180ml measurement of jooose, RalphCoatesComb was bang on, and earns himself four points including one bonus point.
Not far off here were HunterST with his 174 and ayrshireclaret83 who Estimated 186.
Well done indeed to everyone, and thanks for all your Entries.

Wow! Back of the net !
On the scoresheet, at last !
Hopefully, it's an omen for today's duel against Beelzebub's leaky defence
Thank you Admiral and Bosscat

Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
So what went wrong here?
We had the second best Burnley counter managing the proceedings and it went extremely smoothly. Yet the two debateable decisions (if we say there is some debate about the Mee penalty/Barnes goal incident, which in my mind there isn't) went against us and despite attacking as best we could within our limited ability, we failed to score.
It seems to me this is a bit like a superstition which doesn't actually work.

Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
If you were to contrast points per game before Counting began this season with those gained afterward then the difference might be clear to you, Hipper.
Nonetheless, even the ethereal powers can struggle a little when the match referee plays for the opposition.

Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
We carry on regardless.
A Volunteer is now required for the Sheff Utd match Officiation. Estimating time for that one should begin at 5pm tomorrow.
And it's probably better, Hipper, if you don't put your own name forward, or even bother to Estimate. The powers that be require our positivity.

Re: Tesco Peach Slices In Juice, 410g.
I believe someone posted in an earlier thread that they were willing to do the Sheff Utd game.
Noted!

I'm not sure whether I'm more disappointed with this result or the one at Elland Road.

HunterST, wasn't it you who claimed responsibility for Sheff Utd?
