Highlights how badly we need some depth to the squad.
We certainly need 3 incoming players next month.

I’d settle for a point with that starting line up.

I think a lot of us would have taken a draw anyway. Get a draw here and then two home games next.

I'm hoping McNeil and Brady aren't serious, but we're just saving them for the Sheff Utd and Fulham games.

By the sounds of things, I think a lot of it down to the next 2 games. Dyche suggested both were possibles for today, but would decide nearer the game.

Can we shake hands at a 1-0 leeds win now please?

A very poor do when we have no recognised winger able to play, it's been the same regards CB and Midfielders at various points this season..

Still some think Dyche has been supported and Mike has done a good job.
Least we didnt have to sit through it with 35k Leeds fans having a party

Amazing considering all the stick they've both had on here this season!
Brady has been good the last few games. We need to see it for longer. I don’t get the criticism of McNeil. Think he’s been great for us.

Morning All.
Hope it's been a grand Christmas for everyone, despite what's going on.
Here's hoping for 3 points today, sending the several million Leeds fans locked outside home with pouting faces. 8-)

COME ON UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU CLARETS!!!

Looking at the line up there is little creatively. Lets hope we win our fair share of set pieces as I can't see us creating anything from open play

I think definitely that some of this is with Tuesday in mind and the nonsense of 2 games in 48 hours....if Brady and or McNeil are just 90 per cent one would normally have played if we didn’t have the other game so close...at least we will have two freshish players for Tuesday...just need Vyds back now to allow us to rotate the strikers

On the plus side , Benson has a point to prove and will be giving his all to impress. A big game for him.

On the plus side we have a very solid side so if we can grab the lead, even with their flair we have a chance of holding it. Falling behind is the big problem so I expect us to start very defensive.

So it's either Benson, Brownhill or Westwood on the right. :)

If it is Benson, do you think he can do as well as Brady and perhaps run at the opposition? Not seen too much of him, is he skillful?

Bless him, Gomez Mancini looks more suited to University Challenge than playing for Sean Dyche's Burnley!

Will be a tough one today, but both teams are without key players, so it will be interesting to see which one copes better.

Just for a bit of balance, have a gander at Leeds’ defence. Keep it tight and we can win today. Have to work our bloody socks off though.

Even our club have referred to it as a Roses clash but for me that is always a game between the two counties rather than club teams that reside in them. And given there will be Yorkshiremen supporting us today and Lancastrians supporting them, no way can it be a war of the roses.

I would have thought, given the circumstances, that Bardsley could have stepped in at right back and Lowton moved up to right side.

Hard call losing both wingers but what can you do just have to work with what we have , will be good to see how we set up today and deal with Leeds

"One for the purists" will probably be a description of Burnley's performance today. This could be a turgid watch with no real creative threats. Keep Leeds at bay, frustrate the s**t out o them and somehow take a counter from a set piece would be my prediction.

Will take a point right now.

Very disappointing to lose both McNeil and Brady. There's little creativity in the side but if anyone can defend backs to the wall and nick a point it's us. Going to be a long slog. UTC!

With our lack of wingers today, it means that we will need good games from our FBs to provide the crosses. That means that we will be open to Leed's counter attacks if they are caught too far up field.

Could be a high scoring game?

C'mon you PL Clarets.
