Impossible......

We were supposed to get snow in Glasgow this afternoon, but apart from a brief passing shower, we've not seen any yet, and tomorrow is meant to be bright and sunny.

About 3 inch deep in my garden and getting deeper.

Seen plenty of cars struggling to get up Clitheroe Road and a few have already been abandoned

It's very white out here, I'm undecided whether I can bother to take my recycling bins to the top of the drive now.

It’s slushing down Pendle Way

The only thing I hate more than snow is wet snow. If it's going to snow, so right !

I'm not surprised people are surprised its snowing in December tbh.

Coming down fairly heavy in Clitheroe but not sticking.

No snow here yet ... although we did have a few flakes on Christmas Morning for about 20 minutes...

On saying that the wife said it snowed like hell for about 10 minutes about 1.45 pm as my Brother set off to walk home after the match

Yep Mother in law nearly got stuck at ours
I had to drive her back to Burnley
Fuelled by the Leeds anger I said I’ll ******* carry her if I have to.
Mayhem on the roads, up by the Marsden pub, Kings-causeway, cars were sliding backwards and sidewards
Think it was mainly bad driving I kept my distance and got through in 1 go, timing the traffic lights.
All good fun
Dropped the mother in law up Crown Point, saying this is as close as I can get you’ll have to walk from here, she said but haven’t you gone past Burnley, I said don’t be silly you know you’ve no sense of direction
It’s that way, left her walking to Bacup in her slip ons and a Cardy

Coming down like crazy now.

We had a shower at 12 o'clock it settled, but the sun came out and its mostly gone now

No snow up here, cold dry and sunny, I'm just about to go out for a walk, ideal conditions to stretch the legs and get some fresh air.

Snow here in West Yorkshire. It was falling very slowly when I walked to the shop, looked to have speeded up slightly.

Quite heavy in Colne.

I'll probably stay off Facebook for a while. I know what snow looks like.

Enjoyed today's wintery scene

1st snow of the year here in Solihull right now. Actually, it is the 1st snow since 2018!

Its snowing again

Been up here two and a half years,and last night was the first time its snowed,I thought Scotland was legendary for its snowfall...pisspoor attempt,the Rossendale valley puts on a better show,I'm never going to get that attempt at skiing at this rate!

I'm loving all the snowy pictures. Makes our area look stunning.

A walk up Teggs Nose outside Macclesfield at the weekend, an hour between the two pictures taken at the same place.

A small covering of snow overnight here, but it's the freezing fog that's been the real problem. Last night and tonight are what you would describe as peasoupers.

Met Office has issued weather warning for snow, heavy in places and ice for East Lancs
Thursday night through Friday morning.

Goes without stating but be careful on the roads.

Just helped a neighbour who had got their car stuck and another neighbour walked down the street saying he'd just smashed his car into a wall going down Brunshaw Road

Woke up this morning to as deep a snowfall as we've had in our village for a few years.
