Any word how long they’re out for?

Pre match Dyche said it’s possible they are available for the next game.

Do hope they're both fit for the next two games
which we need to get results in and certainly not lose.
Both games are critical and if we can win them then
we'll have 19 points from 16 games which given our very poor
start will give me/us the belief that we can stay up.

Come on lads.
Make it a good ending to the year.

Feel like it was a calculated gamble from Dyche knowing there’s 2 home games coming up which are very winnable and try sneak a point at Leeds without them.

We can't sneak a point from a game If we have no players on the wings that are capable of putting the ball into the box, a very very negative starting lineup from Dyche

And at least we’ll not be playing on a Sunday league pitch like yesterday so silky smooth players like Dwight & Robbie will shine!!!

COYC, yesterday has gone, the next one matters!

That pitch was embarrassing for a premier league club

You would still have thought they would have been on the bench in case the gamble did not work
Fear it could be the same squad on Tues night

Not to make it an excuse for losing but it's something we both thought yesterday, the ball often bounced on divets and didn't move quickly on the surface, same for both teams admittedly but it's as if they had played rugby on it a few days before.

Going back to the original topic, yes we need them back but I have to say the players in the second half were magnificent, it's a long time since I've seen us put that much constant pressure on a team away from home.

There was a point where I’m sure we had a missed shot due to a bobble? And I’m not sure if the shot Pieters scuffed against Benson took a bobble too? It does impact both teams but is a slight advantage to them when they play on it every week!!

That’s a good point. To recover in two days is a big ask so probably unlikely!

Not sure why JBG/Cork didn’t feature on the bench having played minutes midweek. Seems strange not to ha e them as cover!

But for an incompetent referee, the gamble would have paid off - probably handsomely!

2nd half we improved massively, and their keeper had to make several decent stops, more of the same for the next 2 games please, we just need to add that finishing product and the wins will come.

It occurred to me yesterday that whenever we need to, we impose ourselves on the game (City aside), but when we don’t are happy to sit back and try to soak up play. Not sure some of our less dominant displays are actually tactics vs ability.

Hope it continues tomorrow!
