Looking bleak for the new owners already!
Looks like they've got a major challenge on their hands getting us out of this mess.
We could be joining Bolton before we know it..

Re: Looking bleak for the new owners already!
Do you think it’s a running joke with someone at Sky?

I’m all for having a joke, but there’s being funny then there’s being unprofessional
This falls into the latter for me and I really hope something has been said

That's Burton, not Barnsley, though. If it is a deliberate running joke, I would have thought the person doing it is risking the sack. It doesn't bother me in the slightest, but as Wilks said, it's very unprofessional of Sky.

Has anyone thought that they may be victim to predictive texting, God knows I am regularly.
It doesn't stop the blame for the proof reader, but it probably isn't deliberate.

That's a shocking start from the new owners.

The Badge could be automatically linked with the Name, in order not to post twice. I don't know, I just think it's a far more realistic theory.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 12:35 pmThe badge as well though??

Perhaps they think they have bought Barnsley!

Re: Looking bleak for the new owners already!
Except it's Burton Albion who fill that slot.
It could be the predictive text explanation given above, but I prefer the idea that it's a Rovers fan with a sense of humour. If so, it doesn't offend me in the slightest.
Sort of thing one of us might do to wind Rovers fans up.

There’s a difference though between a regular fan doing it and somebody from the professional media.
