Four football related people to have round this new years eve.

Post by bfcjg » Thu Dec 31, 2020 1:11 pm

Ok, no covid restrictions and they have to be alive ,also just one Claret. Three to come in one to slam the door in his or hers face ( lots to choose from)Why would you have them ?
I'd have Souness, one of the few pundits I really listen to and respect, great playing career and manager (apart from one mistake) great to question and chat to and I imagine good crack as the drinks flowed.
Sir Alex, for the above reasons, plus I'd like to know why he has a soft spot for Burnley and the drive required to keep building winning teams.
Sean Dyche, really intelligent witty person just be an honour to watch the three of them talk football.
I'd slam the door in Owen Coyles face having made him fly over from wherever he is currently playing or should I say lieing his trade.

Glen Little, Robbie Blake, Ashley Barnes and Ally McCoist.

Pandemonium.

I’d definitely go for Sean Dyche & Sir Alex. To keep it to managers I’d add Arsène Wenger.

I’d slam to door in Mourinho’s face.

Warnock!

Thank you. Developed symptoms on Christmas Eve. Left me with fatigue, shortness of breath, headache snd absolute loss of taste and smell, despite having clear airways. Hopefully things will pick-up.

Terrible timing, as far as I am aware I haven't had it however the limited people I know who have had it had symptoms similar to yours but started improving after a few days, hope you feel better soon.

Barry Kilby. He’s a nice man and I’d like to serve him a beer. I’d like to know what gives him more satisfaction, his legacy from his tenure as our chairman, or his legacy in saving men’s lives through his prostrate cancer charity work.

Jurgen Klopp. I just think he’d be a right laugh. Unusual to find a German with a sense of humour. (Just kidding)

Mick McCarthy. Straight talking, and I’d love to know exactly how it went down when he sent Roy Keane home.

Door in the face for the bully that is Roy Keane. What a nasty, spiteful, vindictive little shite he is. Yeah he could play a bit, and people reckon he was a great captain... but i wouldn't follow him in a conga. Awful individual.

Good op.

I'll try and choose some different ones to those already mentioned.

Wade Elliott-sored arguably the most important goal in recent BFC history, and he'll always be a Clarets legend for that alone.

Zidane- so I could ask what triggered his madness in the WC final.

Southgate- to give him his P45.

Slam the door on David Dunn just because he's David Dunn.

Madeline Wright and three of her friends!

Edit: im not that greedy, lets say her and two of her friends.

I'd then have space for Rob Jones so I can tie him up in my garage for the next few with his testicles wired up to the mains.

Mike Summerbee, Francis Lee, Robbie Fowler and shut the door in the face of Simon Garner. The first three all successful footballers but with another life away from football.

Sean Dyche, love listening to him, very witty with a great sense of humour.
David Dunn...... ( theres questions id like to ask) and as Simon Garner begins to greet his buddy at the door....slam the door in his face.

This is quite tough, as I'm not really struck by celebrityism so wouldn't want a load of people just because they are rich and famous. I'd rather stick to people I know or knew for the most part. So if I have to pick from people that are on a list of people that are vaguely famous, it would be:-
Kevin ball
Stephen Cleobury - the guy who conducts carols from Kings every year.
Brandon cox, the ex-auburn quarterback. I don't know him but we have something in common.

I'd shut out that Mrs brown man woman thing or Jimmy savilles ashes or that loud cockney guy that is annoying but is avoidable enough for me not to remember his name.

Oh, right. As usual, I read the small print and ignored the heading. An occupational hazard.

OK then, I'll stick with Kevin ball and Brandon cox. Am I allowed Barry John as the third one? It's still rugby football. If not then Michelle Owen.

And shut the door on Michael owen. He'd probably cry off injured anyway.
