Netflix on Sky
Sky have sent me an email to activate Netflix on Sky as I have “the Ultimate TV Bundle”. We already subscribe to Netflix but Sky imply that we don’t need to pay separately as it’s already included. Is this right? Is there a catch? Will it be chargeable in months to come? I haven’t time to wait in a queue to talk to Sky, maybe some guru on here can help?

When I took Netflix it just automatically switched and I received a email off Netflix confirming the change, so no issues, the only issue I did have was i had an account that allowed me to watch on multiple devices but when changed it was only for one person to view on tv or laptop etc at a time.

I work for Sky so can answer this...your Ultimate TV bundle includes Netflix...the email you have received will link your current Netflix account to your Sky account and Netflix will stop charging you. So.....here goes....
If you do not have HD then you Netflix sub will be the basic i.e. Standard def and 1 screen
If you have HD then you get the HD sub which is 2 screens
If you have multiscreen and/or UHD then you will get the top sub which is the 4k and 4 screens.....
This is regardless of your previous subscription that you had directly with Netflix....

no catch. there should be a link existing account option when you load it. so you dont have to cancel reregister etc

I have both Sky and Netflix.
Both are useless.

Netflix was such a disappointment. Pick a film. Look it up. Its there in name but cant view as Netflix havent payed the royalties.

Also got sky q with multiroom
Does this mean we can cancel the Netflix subscription and still get to view it on upto 4 different devices with current sky subscription?Or only get to view it through sky app and extra sky q mini box?

Just realised I got my Netflix with Sky a year ago now. I upgraded to Sky Q on 30th Dec 2019. I’ve never mastered the remote control though but the Netflix works fine.

Apologies for hijacking the thread somewhat, but I’d like your opinion and inside knowledge if it’s there on why the Disney Plus app on my Sky Q box has issues with buffering yet the app on my TV can cope fine with UHD content absolutely fine? On other forums it’s suggested the app is not optimised for the sky Q box...??? Something has just come to mind, what model is your Q box?? I'm currently on a rolling monthly contract and paying around £75 a month for the TV (I'm with Talk Talk for Internet).
I don't have the cinema/movies, so the £75 is for the Sky Sports and Entertainment package.
I'm on the Sky HD box, so not Sky Q. I didn't upgrade to Sky Q as I use Magic Eye and apparently, Sky Q doesn't work with Magic Eye.
Am I better off upgrading to the Sky Q and having 2 boxes, so I can watch the TV in the bedroom? Do you think that would still be cheaper than my current rolling contract?

But also switched to sky signature package which saves £1.50 a month and is all the same as I previously had
So effectively only paying £3.50 for Netflix premium now
With the added bonus of Netflix linked to my sky home page now

Signature is the base package...effectively Sky TV before you add your premium packs on...used to be called Entertainment CT
