Just seen that people are worried about him and I thought I'd post here to see if anyone knows him in real life and if they can check up on him. His last Tweet was quite worrying and a number of people are now asking about his well-being.

Looking through some of his previous tweets his full name is Michael Thorne.

Not finding any profiles that could be his, on Facebook.

But for those on Facebook, if you do a search, and you have friends in common, he may show up near the top. There seems to be hundreds of Michael Thornes.

I've just been and taken a look at the email address he registered with. It gives no indication of a surname. He hasn't posted since Christmas Day but he did login this morning just after 10 a.m. so that should put our minds at rest on that one.

If that is him, it says the last login was 2 minutes ago, which could be a good sign.

Saw that on Twitter 1 hr ago.....think people were trying to reach out....theres also a young lad just tweeted similar..Gary Lineker involved in trying to contact him. Its a shocking state of affairs, I really hope both these guys are safe.

I’m dreading the next 2-3 months or so for things like this, it’s going to be a very difficult time for a lot of people with all that’s going on in the world, I’d urge everyone to really look out for everyone you know.

His full name is Michael Pollard it would seem from something on Twitter. He possibly lives (old information I’ve seen posted) in Haslingden. Police are checking on him apparently.

There's a Michael Pollard in Burnley if you look on Facebook. It doesn't show much though.

Hope this fella is alright. This is becoming far too common an occurrence.

However bad things might seemingly get, in most instances it can be fixed.

Some things can be fixed but sometimes what’s in your head can’t.

Obviously we don’t know the circumstances here but to get to that stage is frightening. My heart goes out to him and I just hope he’s going to be ok.

I went through the comments and I'm absolutely certain that it isn't Josh Brownhill our midfielder.

Following over 2,000 and 200 Followers would suggest not, and some of his tweets are dubious.

Anyway, great that the Mick fella is okay.

Wishing you all a happy new year, things can only get better, i had that played when i married my wife Tracey in 2009, little did i know what was in store for me all the years later, but this is just to let eveyone know that Burnley Mick South is safe and doing well and feeling better than just before Christmas and i would like to thank everyone in the Claret family for all the nice comments that were made to me at that time, thanks again, UTC.

Actually looking at it again it appears it isn't Josh Brownhill. Oh well it doesn't really matter im just glad the guys safe
