Gotta feel sorry for the new top man . Every company’s ultra pain in the arsrse “ meeting the public /shareholders/stakeholders “ In all sectors it’s usually made up of badly educated hard core super fan Facebook type loons . You can only wish him well

Seems like a race is on to be the first person to meet Mr Pace. Maybe we could have a gladiator style competition to decide.

Super fans are you ready
Only be worth watching if anyone looks like Jet, otherwise it's pointless :-D

Bring back the 1979 badge Mr Pace! head n shoulders the best badge in our history. (In my opinion)
Is it just me or does anyone else think that those who ask for the old badge are those that have this one on a tattoo somewhere??

What I'm saying is they try to represent the fans. They have had a privileged position in recent years with direct communication with the club and have helped a lot of fans during that time with issues. I understand what you are saying but they don't just represent their members, they will represent any individual supporter or group of supporters. They've become more active in speaking to fans over the past couple of years and I've done my best to help with stuff on the message board, getting people's views.
That’s good to read and definitely a good platform.

Are you going to share the letter?
It’s just my personal views on my experience as a fan. How much potential the club has. A unique and patient fan base who will more often than not give outsiders, new players and managers time and support. There will be obstacles but despite what some may say, there is no limit to where we could go. And while we have a predominantly local fan base and proud of that we do have fans further afield and lots of opportunity to tap into that as well as improve our commercial / corporate opportunities.

Could you potentially see if CFC can put you in touch?
I’m sure he will reply himself.

He didn’t need to read mine never mind respond. But as I say. Seems like positive improvements to communication. Only negative people could see negativity in that.

Hopefully they take on board the views of all supporters, not just the supporters groups, they do good work, but don't represent the majority of supporters.
A questionnaire sent to all those on the clubs database would be a good starting point.
You cannot do that, it’s called GDPR. Any individual has to agree to receive correspondence. And it bugs the hell out of me GDPR does not cover my UK rights in the USA

I hope that not all groups who disagree with stuff that the club do start emailing him.

Hi Alan, here’s hoping you can build increased revenue streams into the club, in order to facilitate our desire to have better players. BUT please remember

We’re in Burnley, so don’t increase ticket prices because we can’t afford it.

Also, we don’t like gambling, so don’t take their money.

Some of us have had people who struggle with Alcoholism, so if you can make sure we’re not making money from that.

Plus there’s some of us who are vegan, so the food can no longer have meat in.

Some of us are huge on green initiatives, and there’s really no need for the use of floodlights, all games should be played at 12:30 or before so we don’t have to use lights, and whilst you’re at it can you turn off the grass growers? As they are damaging the planet.

Plus some suffer from anxiety and don’t like loud noises, so can you please implement a shouting ban when we return.

Some of us don’t like the large media corps and the way they have dictated behaviours on the planet for the last 30 years, so please, no more major media deals.

Thanks for looking after all of our interests, and erm, yeah, good luck on driving forward the club revenues to allow us to prosper. And if we can have individual meetings to discuss the above vital items, that would be great too.

All the best

Dan

As I mentioned earlier in the thread.
Americans are very customer focused and expect good customer service.

If they get lots of complaints about the ticket office for example, the ticket office can expect a lot of retraining, they will not accept lots of continued complaints. It’s not how they roll in America.

Whilst they cannot fix things quickly, I feel sure they will address some of the ongoing issues we clarets have had to put up with for years.

The new badge looks, weak, cheap and tacky, unlike the 79 badge, which looks quality
I think I prefer the 1979 one too.
