I'm not sure how you've arrived at that '11', but John Gayle? He'd finish bottom of any relative list even if we'd been unfortunate enough to play as low down as the eighth tier. Truly awful, who stragely remains popular with burnley fans for scoring a goal with his shoulder on TV and nearly breaking an opponents leg into 36 pieces.

...and a few I'd have on that list way above most:

Dele Adebola
Charlie Austin
Andre Gray
Andy Gray
Gareth Taylor

... and one who wouldn't make the list no matter how long it was:

Tony Hancock

Lol yea I suppose he couldn’t of been in there. Genuinely interested how others viewed that bunch though. Was imgs in the premier league as effective as Nogan in the 2nd division?
I know he’s a better player but relatively ? Gota be Nogan

I wasn’t picking the best players or anything . Just players I were interested in

I Thought the question might be a bit too complicated for this board tbh. I’ll make my next one a lot simpler

Nogan didn't play for us in the 4th division.

Not sure how we got this far without mentioning `JRod or Ade. Maybe not top but high up on my list.

You probably confused those not as clever as you by getting Nogan and the division wrong ;)

When they interviewed people for tv around Burnley I thought they always searched for them ‘special’ people on purpose. I now know they don’t

Danny Ings
Robbie Blake

Mick Conroy
Roger Eli
Chris Wood
Frank Casper
Paul Fletcher
Billy Hamilton
Kurt Nogan
George Oghani
John Gayle

Danny Ings and Robbie Blake quite a bit ahead for me in terms of quality and enjoyment of watching us during those periods.
Casper, Fletcher only that low down as I was too young really to see much of either - I’m sure they were both a lot better players than Eli and Conroy but with the latter two I was going to every home and away game and within the poor division that we were in at this time it was a great time for us to be seeing players who were better than what we had been used to for a while.

John Gayle - strange inclusion but at least it was easy to position him in the list !!

Hamilton would be right up there if it were home performances but if it were based on away performances he'd be close to the bottom.

Impossible to rate a player you haven't seen but not sure otherwise how Frank isn't top.
