Game of Thrones

Have you watched it?
How many times have you watched it?
Now it has finished I needed a GOT fix, so I have started again for the fourth time.

Watched it once, originally with my gf separately when we didn't live together (and speak after/ the following day).

Haven't watched again as generally find once you know the story the anticipation is removed somewhat - many moments that made me go wow, but would I want to revisit them knowing they happen?

I think it’ll be a good few years before I rewatch it all after the joke that was Series 8.

One of the greatest shows of all time but the last series really left a sour taste. I’ll enjoy it more with a 5-10 year gap to get over it!

Never watched it, even though it's probably my sort of thing. It was one of those where because I didn't catch the first series I thought watching it from series 2 wouldn't make much sense, so I didn't watch it at all.

Same with Breaking Bad, didn't see that either.

Watched it, really enjoyed most of it.

Will watch it again at some point, but I'm in no rush as there is so much new stuff to watch first.

I tried a few times to watch it when it was the show of choice across social media, but I didn't understand the hype. During "Lockdown series 1" I decided to try again, and I persevered with it... then the hook - the separation of head from body of Sean Bean at the end of series 1 left me asking more questions. After that, it was raising more questions than providing answers in each episode, so it kept me hooked until the end - which I agree was rubbish.

I understand why it was hyped, but it wasn't anything I'd like to watch again.

I won't rewatch until the irrational anger I felt after Series 8 has diminished somewhat, but I've rewatched S1-4 numerous times and then S5 6 and 7 once each prior to the next coming out.

Even though the story is no longer a surprise it's worth a rewatch simply because of the volume of characters. Its hard to keep track at first.

I might give this another try....my last attempt at this was, after ten minutes into the first episode of the first series....I was soundly asleep.

It's got everything a Burnley fan should like...

Boobs, fighting and incest.

Nah, my sisters don't do anything for me, I prefer doing my mates sisters.
Just looking for one more to get the hat trick of those.

Loved it up until they ran out of books, thought the final series was a poor reflection of the previous writing and it soured the whole series for me. Will give it another go eventually... when I forgive them and am willing to retry to like it.

The GoT crew could watch Vikings to see how a show can end.
Was a lot better than the hash they made of theirs.

What are all the negatives about series 8? Was it not the ending you wanted? It’s tv, they could never keep everybody happy.
I got into it very late but did catch up and got through it all. Not my normal genre but very well made. I wouldn’t be in a rush to watch it again.

Thought it was garbage tbh, not a patch on Sopranos or The Wire, or even Breaking Bad.
