Tarkys, the ideal Estimating period is 24 hours, and one extra hour is allowed before kick-off for the posting of Count Result and winners' info besides updating of the leaderboard.

Re: KTC Chick Peas In Salted Water, 400g.
I've been the nearly man a few times this season but no wild guessing was involved in my winning estimate for this count. In fact i'd like to dedicate this victory to my wife and her partiality to Chick Peas.
Would love to step forward and conduct a count in the near future but my availability to do so is uncertain. For now I'll continue my participation. My counting instinct feel honed.

I intend opening up the next tinned food count at 20.00 tomorrow (Monday). I trust that this meets with your approval Admiral

Re: KTC Chick Peas In Salted Water, 400g.
Ralph, although of course the permitted maximum of 24 hours for Estimates plus one for Results would give us a starting time of 19.15 tonight, I'm of the opinion that 20.00 would be early enough.
Please note however that it's not my personal approval that Counts, but rather a Ritual performed strictly in line with the Ancient Rules, and In that regard I would repeat for the sake of all future Officiators the importance of a correctly formatted Count Thread title: including brand, unit/liquid ID and gross weight but without unnecessary extras; just as in the title above. The new thread's purpose will be obvious enough from that.
Meanwhile I look forward to posting my Estimate, and wish you and all of your Entrants the very best of luck!
