Surely even less chance of that happening now.

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
Thank you norris
Thank you glennon. Pity you were injured when we had no wingers, as you could have had a bit of a run, but hang on in there as it is inevitable that there will be more injuries in 3 games time (or less).
Thank you whoever it was that put the picture of madge behaving nicely up. We get beat every time she gets pulled, so I was fully expecting another cup exit before that appeared.
If nothing else, that helps us to know that some of our youngsters may be good enough to step up sooner than expected, and that others should maybe be on their way to Stoke as a part of the tyrese Campbell fee.
Congrats Blackpool.
Crawley or Stockport County in the next round, please, and then marine in the 5th.

I'm guessing their manager got sent off for arguing that the free-kick won by Bardsley that led to the equalizer wasn't a foul.
If he did I think he had a point.

I think Bardo used his vast experience in getting that free kickStan Tastic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 5:59 pmI'm guessing their manager got sent off for arguing that the free-kick won by Bardsley that led to the equalizer wasn't a foul.

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
well we got through against Milwall and MK with them playing - I don't mean the entire U23 team (I wasn't clear with what I meant!!) but I'm not seeing the value in playing our "first team" when the application is so poor. You would hope the kids enthusiasm and wanting to help them do well would inspire those first teamers selected to step up.

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
That’s a fair argument, but it will only have a real chance to work, in most matches, if they are replaced soon after the hour not for the last 10 minutes.
Barnes & JBG were both left on 20 minutes too long today.

Would not disagree with that at all. Wood have have been hooked at half time for me and then Barnes at 60 minutes because he does offer that nuisance and physicalityBleedingClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 6:48 pmThat’s a fair argument, but it will only have a real chance to work, in most matches, if they are replaced soon after the hour not for the last 10 minutes.
