Not read all the posts on Wood. But has been said on a couple of fan sites, that he is recently single, after a long term relationship.
No idea if true, but could explain a lot. Only human after all. Not sure if dropping him, keeping away from the critics is helpful or not?

Yes I heard that. Does seem a nice genuine bloke as well. I personally don’t think he’s been as bad as people are suggesting. Once he gets a goal or two he’ll be fine. Needs a bit of luck his way. Once he gets going he’s still our best striker. I think he works better with Jay though as jay links play just behind him whilst Barnes just batters people. I think Barnes should be a substitute option (and a good one at that) at the moment. Vydra is also a good player but unfortunately doesn’t really fit our play style.

Were the pictures a guess on when they both score in the same match!?
