Pogba

Post by Milltown1882 » Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:35 pm

Best player on the park by a distance tonight. Lucky with the deflection to get the goal but dominant throughout. Fair play to our two in midfield for managing to battle well against them in there.

World class and still United’s best player when he can be bothered.

Yes Pogba is on form right now, and if he can maintain these levels, then United have a great chance of lifting the title come may,

He did cost £90m though, so you'd expect him to dominate games in the PL, especially against the lesser lights.

Interesting comment from a United fan on the BBC coverage along the lines of "Not surprising Pogba is playing well, the transfer window's open" 😂

United paid 90 million for one player. Alk paid 170 million for our entire club. Puts it all in perspective really how well we are doing just to be in the EPL.

Thought he was a borderline liability at the Turf a few years back, constantly trying the spectacular, dwelling on the ball etc but was imperious last night. Probably the type of performance United thought they’d have seen more of considering outlay.
