Best of luck with this one. It is difficult enough to order items for despatch to UK never mind Italy. Absolutely hopeless un-user friendly website.longside72 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 6:03 pmLooking to buy some stuff from club shop online for a mate in italy who has just had a baby and get sent direct to him , has anybody got a Phd in ordering for such a situation ? Hopefully the new chairman will be onto these sort of deficiencies and improve them.

Don't use DPD to send to Europe if you sending the parcel on they have not got a clue on what the new rules are.Royal Mail are proving the best at the moment.

Buy it yourself, pack it and send it over yourself. Honestly mate, as things are you will be taking a massive risk as we are still in the learning phase. Why challenge it?longside72 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 6:03 pmLooking to buy some stuff from club shop online for a mate in italy who has just had a baby and get sent direct to him , has anybody got a Phd in ordering for such a situation ? Re: Club shop
Yes good point. If Pace and co. conduct a root and branch examination of our off field activities, club shop, website, ticketing, hospitality, media etc. they should quickly realise that we are certainly not Premier League in these areas.

I ordered several things from the on line shop on Saturday. Received an e-mail confirming order and stating that order could take up to 10 working days to process - this morning (Wednesday) all items delivered along with a freebie desk top calendar - so I have no complaints !
Re: Club shop
I ordered a shirt for a friend in America direct to her address. It's a while ago now but I think it was about £10 postage and it didn't take long to arrive.

Re: Club shop
What’s actually the big issue with the online club shop? It’s a pretty poor looking website, granted. But I just had a look, added an item to my basket and went through the checkout to the delivery screen in under a minute.

It must be the only online Club shop where you can buy an 80 quid watch but can't by a club scarf! That is one area ALK can vastly upgrade profit margins

Would anyone else pay MORE for a shirt if it didn’t have that appalling Chinese betting logo on it?

I'd pay less. I don't really like the design of the shirt, but the logo adds that oriental touch which, I'm told, is de rigueur for 2021.

Re: Club shop
As has been said many times before, the club shop online ordering website is absolutely terrible.
I hope Mr Pace is aware of this. In this day and age it should not be like this, makes the club look very amateurish and needs sorting.

If anyone needs to email the club about the shop, the email address on the club website under Contact Us is wrong, as the f is missing after Burnley.

Re: Club shop
UPDATE - On behalf of the Burnley FC Supporters Groups I've been in touch with the club regarding the issue of not being able to use points and vouchers when buying from the online shop and the fact that vouchers are only valid for 12 months. This is the very positive reply which I've received -
'we will extend the validity of store vouchers and points until further notice once we have a clearer picture we will add more detail to this. I hope that helps and if any supporter group has a query regarding an individual case then please encourage them to email the Supporters Liaison Officer directly or James in the store. We will always listen and consider individual circumstances and make allowance where possible, we know finances are tight for many. We value and recognise the continued support of people by spending money with us and keeping monies in accounts over lockdown'.
Also, this is now on the club website -
'We recognise some supporters have accumulated TeamCard points last season. This maybe due to having these points added to their TeamCard (in place of a cash refund for last seasons unattended matches) or just from retail spends.
We would like to advise all supporters that any expiry date that may have applied to these points will be extended indefinately as we write. Once we have a firm understanding as to how long local Covid restriction may be inplace across retail sites we will advise further on this. So all supporters will be able to use them throughout 2021 once the retail store reopens.
We are also working towards providing supporters with the ability to use these points online and so you can purchase items from our retail store from the comfort of your home. The Club is working with our partners to enable this as soon as practicable.
We thank you for your patience whilst this is under development.
If you have a specific question please contact us on email our Supporter/Disability Liaison Officer'.

I've had recent communications with Nick Taylor regarding the above. Despite me saying that I, and many other Burnley fans, feel like we are just a number to our 'family club' not once did he offer anything to say that we weren't.

Re: Club shop
If your supermarket of choice is being sh1t and unhelpful, you just go to a different one. If your club’s shop is doing the same, you’re kind of stuck unless you want a Rovers item instead.
I’ve no problem with the club treating fans as simply customers, but if it’s going down that road it had better make sure it’s customer service is befitting of a professional operation rather than an amateur one.

That’s a massively contradictory viewpoint when comparing it to your views about making Burnley a more appealing and marketable brand on the takeover thread.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 9:45 amHave you emailed your local supermarket with the same concern?

Nah I'm just amused by people complaining they aren't getting a hug from the retail arm that is quite possibly being reviewed as we speak.
That's despite the retail arm being toss for years.

This is on the club’s roadmap for development, and indeed has been since last year. Just to put it in context a little, the increasing seriousness of the COVID pandemic meant that the club’s focus had to change from any online retail improvements to (what was) a mandatory upgrade and overhaul of the entire ticketing system and access control of the stadium, currently this is at an advanced stage.
The club has now set it’s focus back on the online retail system, indeed the new ownership of the club are also looking at ensuring this project of improvement, which will include online redemption of points, will be a top priority and accelerated. While I / Club can’t give and exact time frame I hope this offers some reassurance that this is ongoing, outlines the reasons about why that development hasn’t occurred so far, but also gives some reassurance that it is certainly a priority for the near future.
